highlights: Surround Live 5 – Place to Be at AES 2007 The “hot ticket” at the recent Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention (www.aes.org) in New York City was the “Surround Live 5” workshop co-sponsored by Neural Audio Corporation. Attendees at the daylong event were able to listen to presentations by 5.1 Live Event Pioneers such as Fred Aldous, Fox Sports and Mike Pappas, KUVO-FM as they discussed their own work on 5.1 broadcasts. Neural Audio’s CEO Geir Skaaden also spoke at two AES sessions during the conference for “Innovations in Digital Radio,” and “Surround Contribution for Radio and TV,” |
  The “Surround Live 5” provided attendees with the latest Surround sound technologies.
